Phillip's has the neatest atmosphere of any restaurant in Holly. It was featured on the Travel Channel's "Burger Land." I like to get bacon added to my burger with a side of fries and a coke in a glass bottle. Small staff so there is a bit of a wait. Don't go thinking it'll be as fast as Wendy's. it isn't fast food. 7/15/2020-They don’t take credit cards right now. You have to call ahead to order or order from your car when you get here. You can’t go inside. They’ll bring your food to you.

This is a really great hidden treasure in the south about 35 to 40 minutes outside of Memphis Tenn. Holly Springs is a rustic small town known. In Holly Springs a predominantly black college named Rust College has been featured in Ebony, Jet Magazine, southern travels as well. Holly Springs is also the home of the brilliant actress Cassie Davis. My favorite place bar none is Phillips grocery store. Phillips had Theeeeee Best Burgers you could ever eat. When ever I would travel anywhere down south I would go the extra miles for their famous cheese burgers. The meat is fresh the taste is marvelous. The establishment is very small still its a great place to stop and get food to fuel you up. Upon visiting Phillips you get a sense of nostalgia like being transported back in time when life was simple. Please take time to pay Phillips a visit get the double cheese burger with everything on it along with an ice cold Coke. Give your taste buds a treat you definitely won't be dissapointed.

Don't go in expecting fine cuisine. It's a fun place to get a great burger. Interesting buildings and homes to see while you are there.

Located on E Van Dorn Avenue across the street from the historic Holly Springs Depot: When you're ready to have a GREAT burger and fries (or any other really good sandwiches and sides -- this is the place! Family operated and with an amazing collection of Americana, Phillip's is a really a memorable experience and a sure way to fill up on really good cooking!

Good burgers, about 10 varieties. I had the Phil-up burger. They also have a bunch of other sandwich types. Comfort food is what they serve, all in a cozy place. Sweet tea was just right, light on the sugar.
